Sustaining Public Engagement: Embedded Deliberation in Local Communities

This study-in-progress is being conducted by Prof. Archon Fung of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Professor Fung is conducting in-depth case studies of six community-wide study circle programs in order to gain new insights into the impact of public deliberation on community life. Funds for the research were provided through a partnership with the Kettering Foundation.
